 Prompt: Write about an experience when someone assumed something about you because of a stereotype. What was the situation, and what did you do?

Response: Probably when I was little people assumed I talked a lot or be loud because they say black people be loud. I really didn’t do anything but just went on about my day and just ignored them.

Summary: We learned about stereotypes and how they affect people.

Reflection: Stereotypes can mean different things and can affect people differently.

 Prompt: Write about a fear you have overcome Prompt Response: One fear I say I have overcame is probably speaking up when needed. When I was little I probably didn’t speak up as much compared to now. I just became more confident within myself. Summary: Today we work on our mask reflection and wrote who it represents us. Reflection: I learned that a mask really shows who you are as a person.

Explain what the food was, what you originally believed about it, and where that belief came from. Then describe how your perspective changed after experiencing or learning more about the food. Prompt response- Probably like sushi because at first I just thought it was nasty by the way it looks. Then, one day I was hungry and my sister had some sushi and I tried it and it was really good. I wasn’t that much surprised but still surprised because I heard sushi was good before by people around me. Summary- Sushi was a food that I judged based on it looks but turned out to be good. Reflection- Don’t judged sometime unless you tried it because whole time you might like it
