 Prompt: Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

Prompt Response: A time where I discovered something new is probably when I learned more about my people. It shaped something new because I thought it was just something my family did when others can relate.

Summary: Today we work more on our mask and what we think goes on it.

Reflection: Working on the mask made me think more about myself within.

 Prompt: Write about a fear you have overcome Prompt Response: One fear I say I have overcame is probably speaking up when needed. When I was little I probably didn’t speak up as much compared to now. I just became more confident within myself. Summary: Today we work on our mask reflection and wrote who it represents us. Reflection: I learned that a mask really shows who you are as a person.

Prompt response- Probably like sushi because at first I just thought it was nasty by the way it looks. Then, one day I was hungry and my sister had some sushi and I tried it and it was really good. I wasn’t that much surprised but still surprised because I heard sushi was good before by people around me. Summary- Sushi was a food that I judged based on it looks but turned out to be good. Reflection- Don’t judged sometime unless you tried it because whole time you might like it
