 Prompt:In Scene 4, Troy talks about his past, his responsibilities, and the choices he has made in life. Have you ever had to choose between something you wanted to do and something you needed to do? What influenced your decision, and were you satisfied with your choice?


Prompt Response: Yes I have chose between something I wanted to do and something I needed to do and I need choosing what I needed to do because I can do what want to do anytime and making a better choice is always best.

Summary: In class we read scene 4 in the book and work on the worksheet.

Reflection: I understood more about Troy’s character and why he the way he is.

 Prompt: Write about a fear you have overcome Prompt Response: One fear I say I have overcame is probably speaking up when needed. When I was little I probably didn’t speak up as much compared to now. I just became more confident within myself. Summary: Today we work on our mask reflection and wrote who it represents us. Reflection: I learned that a mask really shows who you are as a person.

  Prompt:  Write about a time when you realized that your perception of a particular food was based on a stereotype. Explain what the food was, what you originally believed about it, and where that belief came from. Then describe how your perspective changed after experiencing or learning more about the food. Prompt response- Probably like sushi because at first I just thought it was nasty by the way it looks. Then, one day I was hungry and my sister had some sushi and I tried it and it was really good. I wasn’t that much surprised but still surprised because I heard sushi was good before by people around me. Summary- Sushi was a food that I judged based on it looks but turned out to be good. Reflection- Don’t judged sometime unless you tried it because whole time you might like it
